Oil and acrylic on canvas; 2’ x 3’ by me, Leonardo Santamaria

This is an observation on the human aesthetic and it’s relationship with light and shadow as the body moves in motion. The abstraction of the two figures and its lack of a defined silhouette is my interpretation of movement in a strobe-light setting as inspired by concerts where shadows encompass the stage only to be interrupted by bursts of light.

»>Mmm this one was rejected from the county fair; too contemporary I guess.  Was my best of the 3 and the one I actually wanted to make it as well haha.
